There are a lot of bitter nasty people out there. But the good news is that for every one of these curmudgeons there are at least 10 happy people and one really interesting goon natured person. I usually concentrate on meeting this one guy/gal and try to ignore the critino, bestia, cafone's that you met!

Smile Reminds Me

This reminds me of my older brother who passed away a couple of years ago. When he went to a resturant whether it be a 5 star or a Diner he always made himself a place mat. He would ask for a a second napkin in the 5 star or take a second napkin in a Diner and make himeself a place mat. HE would then put his dinner ware on the place mat. We developed the same way of treating eating out and it works wonders in keeping things clean. Some people are reluctant to ask or do it but in the end you feel a lot more in control of the protection than from just setting the spoons and forks on a raw table top.

I think that is a very good idea, BUT, if you want to think about those nasty little microorganisms. Meditate on this. The dirty rag that swished over the table top. The hands belonging to a human who wrapped your silverware in the napkin, the human hands that removed your silverware from the dishwasher, if it got into the sanitizing dishwasher because they are busy and handwashing ....don't you know.

BUT on the plus side, people who are out and about with people and touching germ laden surfaces have a better chance at good immunity. according to all that I have heard...., unless their immunity is compromised by illness or chemo.

But I see no harm in the napkin idea. If you want your own germs, cook at home, but then the lettuce and radishes and well you know. You cannot escape germs.

My dad always said my mother didn't believe in germs, if you couldn't swat it with a fly swatter, it didn't exist.

Get off your high horse.

I don't have time for people like this.

No class.

Would have told her so.

Well, I have no class. I would have happily paid MONEY to witness this.
