I've spent 8 Thanksgivings here. The 1st one I bought a Toojays to go meal. Very good. All the rest we made at home.

I've talked to many people about their experiences going out and MOSTLY the feedback I've heard is not good. People I've talked to have been to Katie Belles, OBH & some of the other CC's, & Golden Coral. Never really heard good comments about any.

IF I had to go out I would probably venture to Harbor Hills or Mission Inn to see what they offer. Both are good restaurants although pricey.

just my thoughts!

Palmer or Nancy Lopez are usually OK.

Went to Palmer last year and it was acceptable.

Since we are driving to TV the day before Thanksgiving, we will be looking for more restaurant recommendations.

Last year we went to a restaurant on Lake Panasoffkee (Sumter County), which is a very pretty place.

It's nothing fancy, but you just can't beat Thanksgiving at Cracker Barrel. Great meal.

Hacienda has an AWESOME buffet. We went last year and are going again this year. I'm not sure what the cost is....you have to have advance reservations.

Forget Katy Belle's if you want a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Katy Belle's is a noisy meat market.

trying to get a reservation at one of the better restaurants is going to be next to impossible. They will put you on a waiting list but doesn't do much good if there aren't any cancellations...
