Default New BBQ Restaurant coming

I just read in the Gourmet Club's website that a new BBQ Restaurant is coming to the area. A local is going to try his hand at competing with Sonny's, Woody's and The Oakwood.

Plus, yet another Mexican Restaurant has opened in the area, Azteca's.

They come and they go. Good luck to them!

They are one of the riskiest biz ideas out there with hill failure rates.

Good luck to them but I hope they didn't mortgage their house to finance it.

There are 5 or 6 BBQ joints within 30-45mins of TV that put Sonnys, Woodys and Oakwood to shame.

The Old Crow & Damn Smoker are high on that list.

I thought I read on this forum that there was supposed to be another BBQ place on 466a just east of the Lake Co. line. I think it was about 3 or 4 months ago but haven't heard anymore. There is an area that looks like it's been graded and thought that might be it, but it's been that way for a while without any construction equipment around. Anybody know anything about this?

Ooooh BBQ ! Love BBQ! Where are they going to open? I wish them the best! hearing from a friend who owns another local place tells me its very hard for the smaller restaurants to compete with the "Big Boys" in this town...

By the way, the "new" Azteca Mexican Resturant in Wildwood is El Ranchito. I went there last night and they gave me an El Ranchito Menu. When I asked if the place was El Ranchito, the mgr said yes, it's the same eatery with a different name, owned by the same people with the same food. If I wanted El Ranchito all I had to do was drive my golf cart there. I didn't have to drive all the way to Wildwood. Oh well, live and learn.

Hmmm! That's funny considering he also owns the El Ranchito in Leesburg. Three identical restaurants but only two have the same name. Odd!
