I was talking to a nice lady to today whose hobby is to check out places like Alfies and she recommended this lobster pot. I believe she is from Ohio though not New England.

I have agreed with her on some places like Turner's Kitchen in Leesburg. Turners - Location + Hours

We are not that adventurous though with dinners as we usually just head to the regular spots in the Villages like Bonefish Grill, Cody's, Gator's Dockside, or one of the Villages' Country Clubs, etc.

We went last week with a group of 9, they take reservations for groups, also they like to know how many lobsters to get in for lobster night. 4 of our party were from New Hampshire and lobster lovers, they were impressed! You get two whole lobsters, I think they were in the 20-24 ounce range, 4 clams, 4 mussels, redskin potatoes 2 half ears of corn, drawn butter and lemons and coleslaw. The lobster were cooked perfectly and everything was very good. We also go with the same group a couple time a year for their prime rib special. Never had bad food or service at Alfie's.

Good to hear. Maybe when Barefoot comes back and all is well with GE this could be an idea for the TOTV Lobster Group???

Thanks to those who recommended the lobster pot. We went there Tuesday nite and it was great. And keep in mind, we spent two years in Maine trying to exterminate the lobsters.
