How is it easier? Can't really be the charge since even if you have a $20 check each that's only $0.75 cents per person.

They figure you get a bowl, if that’s your meal, you get a cup if its a side - i.e. you order a burger also.

They could have added the credit card fee to the menu, then the bowl of soup is 15.50 and the urges goes from 18 to 18.75. That’s not fair to the cash payers.

Then we have a post about the prices.

Soon we will have posts about the bad service at Palmer’s, because guests are reducing tips by 3.75%.

Actually, the price for the soup is $17. See Post No. 53. Apparently, Palmers does not know how to update their website.

The quality of service should be the same regardless of the tip. The restaurant is responsible for paying their employees a fair wage and for ensuring the service is good. There is no excuse for bad service. Why should customers be responsible for this? No wonder some people, including me, have reduced their restaurant visits.
