Default Cane Garden Prix Fixe menu - great

Went to Cane Garden tonight (Monday) to try their prix fixe menu - Soup or salad followed by an entree and dessert - $11.95. I had the steak and my wife had the Teriyaki Chicken. Both were excellent washed down with a half giraffe of wine. Service was good too. Great value. Allan.

Just curious: was the wine served in a long-necked bottle?

Well, South Africa is famous for its wines - I guess giraffes could be involved...

There are kidding you.

I think you meant carafe.

Thank you for your post. It's always nice to hear of good reviews.

No - I definitely meant giraffe - I know what a carafe is and this was definitely an animal with a long neck and long legs!

I'm sorry I misunderstood. Wasn't meant to be critical.

They served it in a half-giraffe. How adorable!

I sensed that you intentionally wrote "giraffe" as a clever malaprop (well done, btw!). That's why I felt comfortable making the pun.
