Heard a few years ago that it was Pauly's money (or whoever it is who owns Pauly's) that built Santa Fe Crossing.....hmmmmmmm. I wonder how many folks will get into a car to patronize the new place?

Had a pool and spa put in by T&D and learned the business is owned by a relative of the developer! Completely connected to The Villages. Many many businesses in here are owned by relatives and friends of the family. |

Pauley's
I will miss going to Paulie's at Spanish Springs! It was always a fun place to be, friendly people and I thought the best pizza in The Villages. I will continue to go there even if it is not golf cart accessable.

As to pizza joints and joints in general, every neighborhood whether upscale or not
has to have at least one good pizza joint, a good burger joint and a comfy old man's bar.[/QUOTE] That's absolutely right. We need choices for a quick slice for lunch, take out etc. As to the "theme" of "they didn't renew my lease" Why would Tim want tomove a succesful 10 year old business? Why would he want to expand into the unused'unleased (for 3 years) space next door (which was denied) if he wasn't doing well? Just sayin....

Hedoman...I think you are right.
I tried Pauly's twice and it just didn't taste like the wonderful Pizza my mouth was used to. I think Pizza is a very conditioned and geographic choice. Many of you knew the owner and those people should be much more seriously listened to as to the facts of the situation. I didn't know the owner because their pizza wasn't yummy to my Ohio mouth. Gracie, who is homesick for LaRosa's and Donatos.

Pauly Pizza

It was kind of like the pizza you make with a Boboli bread. We did not care for it. No, nothing like Hempstead Tpke! So far the one near Sumter Landing is edible. NY pizza is NY pizza. Or anyone else's favorite is their favorite. We'll have to develop new favorites here. Pizza will probably never be one of them.

Filthy... Haven't been in a bathroom in The Villages that isn't! My son has worked at Pauley's part time all the way through high school. Tim will do well where ever he goes because he is a people person who likes to have fun. Same old dribble about eateries.....

Pauly's Pizza
If this is true about a new pizza shop where Pauly's is,so much for my conspiracy theory involving the Italian place down the block.I guess I've been watching too many Oliver Stone movies.

There IS more to the lease story, but that is between Tim and The Villages. The new pzza place is another small business. Pauley's IS moving to Sante Fe Crossing, it's just a matter of when.
