Default Beijing Gardens closed

Beijing Gardens in Spanish Springs, next door to Publix, closed sometime in the past 4 weeks. I did not care for their buffet or to eat-in, but the carry out was good. Sorry to see it is closed.

Too bad. We did not go there that often but we always enjoyed the buffet. It had something for everyone.

We were planning on a return visit. Guess that place is out.

The only other Chinese buffet place I know of is in Summer Trace. I guess we will have to try that one.

Can't quite figure that out. If you didn't like the eatin or buffet was the carry out different food? It would seem to me that the food would be the same, carry out or eat in.

I'm not trying to be a wise---.

John, I just preferred take out of a few selected items to eat at home. I did not care for the atmosphere or service. To me, I enjoyed their food much more at home. I am not a fan of a buffet and to eat in and order off the menu was not my first choice.

That's too bad. Times are tough when the Chinese guy can't make it.

Posh, Beijing Gardens was in a high rent area and was a fairly large place. It was not a typical store front carry out.

We didn't care for that place, either. Except for Chang's up by Wal-Mart on 466, are there any nice SIT-DOWN Chinese restaurants that you would recommend? We enjoy the take-out in Colony, but not for sit down dining.

That makes sense. We have eaten quite a few times at the buffet in Southern Trace. It's OK but nothing special. We haven't tried the buffet in Leesburg across from Walmart on 441/27. We went there prior to the change of ownership and once again it was nothing special. Our favorite is the place in Colony Cottage. We think it's excellent.
