Default Authentic Neapolitan Pizza

It's hard to find a good authentic Neapolitan pizza anywhere but if there's anything like anywhere in or near TV, I'm in.

Oh WOW! I have two aunts and my Godmother from that family! Thanks for the nice surprise this morning!

We are having our 50th year HS reunion next June at the Holiday Inn in - - - Tinley Park!

Do you have any family from the Bettenhausen's?

Also like Pizza Hut.

Of course, Uno's, Geno's East or Giordano's Chicago style would be awesome!
Having come from Chicago, I can only dream of having Geno's East down here.

Someone mentioned Godfathers and I use to love it but they changed how they made the pizza years ago and I have not found it as good.

I hope someone takes note of all the suggestions here and opens a new place. Pizza is obviously almost as important as golf..

Nope. Great family. Not known for their pizza, however.

(For those who might not know, the Bettenhausens are famous for driving racecars, and are wonderful benefactors in their hometown of Tinley Park.)

So, what HS do you hail from, Chuck?

I bet everyone is gonna say one from their home town.

I know Donato's as a chain and I would settle for that.

I miss LaRosa's from Cincinnati.

I have had people rave about the one in Spanish Springs, but it doesn't taste like the Pizza I am used to.

I wish a good one would deliver!!
Gracie, My youngest sister has lived in the Cincinnati area for 20 yrs. Since 1998 she has lived in Burlington, KY about 10 minutes from the mall in Florence, KY. She also is a fan of LaRosa's and Donatos.

My vote would be Lou Malnati's Lou pizza from Chicago -- mmmm good!!

Papa Murphy's is very good. They have a store in Dubuque, IA where I spent my first 18 years and where my dad still lives. They had a store near me in N.W. suburbs of Chicago, but that location lasted less than 1 year .

Rubicon, Sounds great. Does your wife guarantee delivery in 30 minutes or less? .

Mark1130 -- What part of Chicago are you from? I did not grow up in Chicago, but I've lived in the Chicago area for the past 31 years (7 yrs. in Rogers Park near Loyola University and the rest of the time in N.W. suburbs).

I like the Y'ALL water tower, too. We always use to stop at that exit, for lunch, coming and going from Tennessee and Indiana.

Thumbs up

If you are willing to take a drive for your pizza dinner there is a place in Belleview (West 5 miles on 441) that makes it worth the trip. Belleview Pizza makes your pizza fresh and delicious and hot! If you are one who enjoys trying something new, then try the white chicken pizza. I have always been a traditionalist when it comes to pizza but this was one exception that was worth it.

They are very busy, so if you don't like waiting, then Belleview Pizza is not your place and you must pay $ only for your dinner, but the prices are very reasonable. You will not be disappointed (well most won't) if you try their pizza.
