Default Prima Italian Steakhouse in Brownwood

Riccardi's in Brownwood is now Prima Italian Steakhouse. Anyone dined there? How was it?

Very good food. The lobster cannelloni and the grouper are excellent.

Would have to look at my texts, but Changed owners about 6 month ago. Staff is getting up to speed, food comes Hot, which is unusual for TV.

Steak was good, prepared mid rare, as to the rare we requested. Management agreed but we choose not to not reorder. Not close to great restaurants in Ocala, or Orlando. But that my opinion.

Been there 3 times, each time was well above average to excellent. New owners are the same family that took over Lopez, which is also good now.

You must have eaten there a lot then, I’ve only been 3 times and it’s been all around good experience

The "let us make it right" was wrong

Eager to try this renewed old venue. Few guests just after noon. Christina was friendly and eager. One order of minestrone and salad. One Caesar with anchovies and calamari.
When the food was delivered, the soup was tepid. The calamari was a greasy mess of falling-off breading and rubbery old rings. On check-back, Christina assured that Prima would "make-it-right." Soup returned hot. "Make-it-right" Calamari was wrong. It was overcooked to make it crisp. The batter coating was salty it was fully inedible.
Although the check was not changed to compensate for the poorly prepared food, Steven handed a "free entrée" card just before this writer exited.

Have eaten there several times....each meal was very good. We try and vary the menu so we can each try the others meal to see what we think.

Since the new ownership took over and it is now primo steakhouse it is much improved. My wife and I ate there twice in the last two weeks each time we had a very good lunch . Try the crab cakes appetizer.

our impression? friendly staff, but the food is very "meh" considering their prices. there are better places for the money

As one can tell from all the other responses, this was a "hit piece" on an otherwise pretty good restaurant
