I like Evergreen too..a lot of bang for the buck to get a full buffet with hibachi for what, 8.99? and sushi...

We must have been there on a bad night. We were there a couple of weeks ago and were really disappointed. We were probably there around 5 PM. The restaurant was fairly crowded but our food was cold! We'll give it another chance.

Last week it was $3.99 extra for snow crabs.

Their raw oysters, shushi, and peel your own shrimp were not being kept cold enough. Told the server and she talked to the chef. He took away the oysters and replaced them with some from the back cooler. They were a little colder, but still had no flavor. Maybe the weren't freshly shucked and have been sitting around too long?

Lately, most of the area resturants are switching over to La. oysters. Probably cheaper? I preferred the taste of the Texas Gulf oysters they used to get a little better.

I hate to disagree, but compared to Chinese buffets we have been to in Chattanooga and Toms River NJ we were disappointed by Evergreen, even if it is a 2 minute cart ride from our Villages home.

We felt the selection was much smaller and the food ok but not great.
