Default Replacement for the now defunt Sam's Sea Food

We tried Alfie's on the opposite side of highway 441/27 south from Oakwood Grill as a replacement for Sam's Sea food, a notoriously dirty local favorite of ours for over 20 years, before retirement and moving to the villages. Always ate there when we were returning home to south Florida after a trip north. Now living here for many years, thought we'd miss the old, but certainly run down, place. Found Alfie's to be even better for deep fried sea food. Amazing light breading/batter, correct fry temperature to avoid "grease sogginess". Very clean, "old style" attentive waitresses, no "decor" the food is the focus place, fair prices considering the cost of fresh sea food. Since we were just "trying it out" we went for lunch the first time to avoid an expensive "mistake". Had fried shrimp lunch which was amazing in preparation, value, and taste. Hope it stays the same !
