Very good. Quiet. They do charge a fee for credit card usage

I agree on both food and ambiance! Went there for the first time this week - had the Rigatoni a la vodka - sauce had no flavor, peas were rock hard and the pasta was so overcooked it was shredding.

On Wednesday nights, Evan’s Prairie now has a one-man band blasting away inside the bar. It’s hard to hold a conversation. Ugh! 😩

If it's not as good as when you were up north, then it's not worth $21 for 1 cake. We paid $7.99 for an appetizer cake up north, it was mostly FRESH (not previously frozen) Maryland crab, just enough bread crumbs, mayo and mustard to bind it all into a cake. Even if you had to pay double that because it's in Florida, that's still only $16, not $21.

On our best restaurant list! And love the wallpaper — feels like old Florida ambience. Food & piano music is always good.

RedSauce for the best chicken livers. On the menu as appetizer but IMO enough for dinner.

That price is close to Maryland Seafood Restaurants (home of the Crab Cake...)

But most of the MD places are "Crab houses", with craft paper table cloths, where they dump a dozen crabs on the table...

One of the best crab houses in Annapolis...

Just a moment...

The Oaks is a "real restaurant", not a crab house, so I'd expect slightly higher prices...

Why? Some people prefer to travel by golf cart. If a place is golf cart inaccessible, they are just out of luck.

We go often , the food and service are always on point. The decor reminds me of 40 years ago in a Catskill Mountains resort . Had the Chicken Parm this week and it was excellent.

If people like to only travel by golf cart that is their business.

Friday night I paid $49 for two crab cakes. Add on tip of 20% and tax.
Thats the going price. $42.50 is in the ballpark.
