Smile Rae Rae's Diner

Hi I went to this new restaurant only minutes away from The Villages in Fruitland Park called Rae Rae's! Their food is absolutely amazing and the best part of it all is that its affordable. The staff is always polite and quick. Awesome lunch choice.

I've prepared a pdf copy of Rae Rae's menu for you and anyone else interested.

Note: PDF didn't work on this post. Scroll down to my next post where you will be able to download the menu!

Thanks skyguy79. Got your email. Just wondering if the sausage gravy is the real southern kind. Will try your way with grits.

Thanks!

Here is a Google Map routing from Havana CC to Rae Rae's Restaurant. The map will give you 3 suggestions, but I wouldn't go straight out to the end of 466a then take a left on 441. Because of construction you won't be able to make the left into the small plaza where Rae Rae's is and you'd have to go down further to make a U turn and return. If you take the default route or the Lake Ella Rd Rte. you only need to take a right hand turn (B marker on the map) into the little plaza where Rae Rae's is.

Skyguy, have you been there? I noticed that was the OP's first post, and the other recommendation came from someone with only 2 posts.

Yes, we've been there twice. We were well satisfied with the food and would recommend it. Is it for everybody? No, but then again, to be realistic no place is for everybody. Reading restaurant posts in general over time will prove that a certainty!

Both times we went to Rae Rae's for breakfast and we also brought home subs for later in the day. Warning though, unless your a big eater one sub is probably enough for two, at least for lunch. Also you may not be able to get the subs to go before 10:30AM, but you might... just ask!

Dang... this is making me hungry... and I just had breakfast!

p.s. as for opinion from poster with two posts, I agree with what they've said!

p.p.s. if your going there from 466a, check out the map in my previous post. I made a comment about construction on 441 affecting your getting there. If you're approaching from Lake Ella, 466 or points north on 441, it's located in a small plaza just a short distance past Campers Corner RV on your right.

Thanks, Skyguy. It's always good to have a recommendation from a trusted source (you).
