They just posted their New Years Eve menu on their Face Book Page. Definitely very high end.

Their holiday prices are outrageous. Are they serious?

Dined there once. Whilst the food was cooked and presented well. I though it did not warrant the price charged.
It was noisy as well, quite a few of the special people trying to outshout each other.
Seemed only a few decibels below The Lighthouse!

Is this how they repay their regular customers?

I received my invitation to spend NY's Eve with them .... My husband thought their prices were obscene. I cannot imagine a steak anywhere being worth $75...... I could buy an awful lot of really good steak for that.

Seeing the negative comments I can understand why a “High end restaurant” has a very difficult time surviving in the area of The Villages.

I think their lunches are very good, but I was not impressed with their dinners.

If you do not want to pay the prices, why complain about it ? Would you be happier if Bob Evans relocated to Rose's location. Yes some restaurants are expensive, but you have a choice not to go. Everyone has been forewarned that this place is expensive. That does not equate to meaning you will not enjoy the service and food quality if you elect to pay the price.

....and it does not preclude the point that if you have eaten there, you may not regard the service and food quality as value for the price. Takes a little bit more than a well cooked, pricey steak to make a good restaurant.

Totally agree. A well cooked pricey steak with 2 unimpressive sides.
