Talking Wal*Mart~Arther Treachers

We arrived at the Fortune 500 Super Center after getting a jump from a nice Golf cart I hope they don't mine as I was told they are good for 30 + miles and we were only going about 5 miles we parked on the grass to keep green Once in side we were most warmly greeted buy a fellow AARP member so I was moved to give her a tip I told her that Blue Vests do not go with pink and green polka dot work pants and red high top corrective shoes She was so thankful that she was lost for words. So much for our arrival Yes we were now standing only steps away from viewing the grand marquee of all menus as we held hands and she looked in to my eyes I knew what she was looking for Yes
a Nathans Hot Dog so we order one and split it while seated over looking the grand hall of merchandise O what a night

OK, Sarge, maybe Nathan's are not as good as Thrashers in Ocean City MD...but they are a lot easier to get to.

Regards, fellow Marylander....

Sarge and Fourpar,

It is great to see that we aren't the only Villagers that enjoy the caterers, we have tried the Mexican food and the Cuban sandwiches. Ummm good!

Hi Sandy,

When we were there in December there was a caterer with Cuban sandwiches over in Hemingway I believe it was O'Dell and Canal, of course they move around as construction moves into the area. Publix also makes a very good Cuban sandwich, they will make it fresh while you wait.
My father grew up in Ybor City,Tampa and I love the Cuban and Spanish food that is served in the small family owned restaurants there especially the fresh Cuban bread, and of course my own families great cooking.

Thrashers in Ocean City, MD are the best french fries ever. Wish we could get some "real live french fries" in The Villages

Thanks Halle--I will be on the lookout for the wandering caterer. Will also try Publix cuban. We used to go to Key West every year for the off-shore boat races and, of course, the local cuisine there is Cuban. We would go for a week and all I wanted to eat there were the cuban sandwiches, avocado salads and picadillo.
