Mark's Prime, Harry's or Stirrup's in Ocala. Closer to TV I highly recommend Lopez Legacy

Blue Fin number one, Bonefish number two, there really is no number three unless you leave the golf cart home and take a car.

Try Eaton Beach in Weirsdale. It is just barely north of the Villages right on Lake Weir. Great atmosphere and decor, very good food.

They need to rename that place: SHACK O'SHUCKS. Great seafood though.

Take a leisurely drive over to Crystal River. Go south on 19. Drive out on Ozello Road to Pecks. Right on the water. Lots of fresh options. I like to pecan-crusted grouper. You won't be disappointed.

When we are looking for that once a year special occasion, I wouldn't mind paying a bit more, fine dining experience we head towards Orlando. It's a little over an hour drive and there are some excellent restaurants and here are two of our favorites -

Eddie V's in Orlando - Dinner menu - https://www.eddiev.com/menu/dinner/prime-seafood

deep blu Seafood Grille and Sushi - (This place is a bit farther - near Disney) - Dinner menu - Seafood Orlando | Our Menus | Deep Blu Seafood Grille

If perhaps you desire a 2 to 3-pound Lobster ask the restaurant a week before if they will accommodate your needs.

When looking for great seafood at a reasonable price, close to home, we go there. Bear in mind it is a local’s bar, so if you wish to blend in wear jeans & leave the sparkle tops at home. LOL. Arriving in your pickup truck & talking about fishing while dining is a bonus. All good. The real central Florida.
