Default Square One

Went to Square One (new in Pinellas Plaza) for lunch yesterday. Delicious burger and fries, but kind of pricey. The cheapest burger with fries is $9.99, most are $12 to $15

Burgers are delicious indeed! More expensive antibiotic, hormone free meat....

I love Evergreen, too....

Burgers are good - it's one of those "I really want to see what this place is about" type restaurants. Prices are too high for what you get - IMHO.

I wonder how long it will take before all this bashing leads to another restaurant closing?

We really like Square One burgers and have recommended Square One to numerous people who enjoyed their burgers. We feel it is worth a couple of extra dollars to eat quality meat.

Soooo.....I guess we can all assume you are "going back to Square One."

Sounds to me like the price of the meal will do it in before the bashing does.

I can't believe that bashng about prices at square 1 burgers but people want a high end resturant where you pay about 175.00 for a steak dinner for two. No way. We have been to square 1 and loved the burgers. Best ones around in my opinion. At least here you also get a choice of a side with the burger for the price. I hope it stays here.

I doubt you'll find those of us thinking Square 1 is pricey were the folks asking for a high end steak house. I hope they stay as well - I am satisfied with the one time I went.

I enjoyed my dinner there. I agree the prices are a little higher but like the other poster said you are getting grass fed meat and I for one am willing to pay extra. One think I don't know who their Interior Decorator is but I felt like I was in a Funeral Parlor lol. If you go to their site and sign up they will give you a $5 coupon.

If saying you either didn't like the food or the price was too high for your liking isn't just an honest opinion then I guess you can only post opinions that certain people want to hear. Its not bashing its just an opinion. If you accept good reviews you must also accept bad reviews. We ate at Square-1 and the food was fine but I must agree it is pricey in my opinion for what you get, a burger.

With all the discussion I had to try this place. An All American Burger with Onion Rings and an Iced Tea was $15.24 not including tip. Pricey yeah, but the burger was fantastic and the Onion Rings were the best I've had in years. I will save up some cash and next time take the Mrs.
