Default Snow Birds are here & service declines

We went to an un named restaurant in LSL after seeing unbroken. Sat at the outside bar & ordered the following, Johnny Walker Black on the rocks with a lemon twist & Grey Goose up chilled with a twist & dirty ice on the side. Both twists were wedges & the Goose up was served in a glorified shot glass . We still tipped our normal 20% & left . Went to Evans Prairie to finish our meal ,

The weather was wonderful last night. Florida is just plain busy during these months. Don't think I would blame it on a certain group of people. We live here year round and were out and about. Too beautiful to stay home.

Actually I love it when the snowbirds come back... so many friends to add to our TV family. What is a little inconvenience in the realm of life. God Bless the snowbirds, the snowflakes and the Village People...

Maybe a new server. Snow bird was not who served you. Now if you waited an hour just to get a seat that's a different story

An hour wait for a seat would be influx of snowbirds.

The seasonal residents pay for the whole year and deserve a little more when there in town.
Welcome and it is nice to see your back.

How can you possibly blame this on the "snowbirds"?
Was Evans Prairie service poor as well or were there no snowbirds there?
Your statements are in poor taste!

If your drink orders were not served correctly, I think it's a big stretch to blame that on Snowbirds.

It is the seasonal residents money that allows the rest of us to enjoy the dicount prices for drinks and meals all summer. Without them, we would see less businesses open. I say thank you and the next one I see downtown will have a round on me.

Cheers, jim...I will give them my place in line at Publix...I wish it were easy to know who they are, paying amenities all year to come a few times a year.
Fussing about them using resources is just wrong.

And it's only the 3rd day of January. It's going to be a long winter.
