If they wanted, I could teach them how to cook fresh and pretty fast German food.

We went to Belle Glade CC last night. The schnitzel wasn’t the traditional kind, but it was very tasty and probably healthier than Than the fried kind. It was lightly dusted with flour and sautéed No complaints.

Proper Scnitzel is made with veal, but is now popular with any meat. It originated in Austria, as my relatives who live there are only to pleased to remind me. Not Germany!!
They get quite touchy when I say the German ones are better! |

Like real Osso Bucco is made from veal--TV substitute for veal is pork--no comparison

Anyhow, real schnitzel is made with veal, not pork

Though it means Vienna (not veal), Wiener Schnitzel, to me, implies veal. However, any thin slice of meat can be schnitzeled.
Schnitzel translates to “slice.”

Quite true. The BEST Schnitzel I ever had was in Vienna.
