Default Awesome Hot Dog

Saw a thread about the best hamburgers and just had to share my hot dog experience today.

I stopped in Sweet Creams this afternoon in the Winn Dixie shopping center (actually a few doors north of Winn Dixie) for a cherry vanilla ice cream cone. On the door was an ad for a Mexi Dog. This was a delicious hot dog combined with very tasty chili, cheese, and some onions WRAPPED in a flour tortilla and fried. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this was!

BTW, the cherry vanilla ice cream was good too.

Can't remember where, but I had a similar thing in Indiana. They took a tortilla and put in a hot dog, cheese and chili, wrapped it in the tort the deep fried it. THEN, they put more chili and cheese on top of it and I think some bacon, too. YUMMMM...ack...ack...instant heart attack!

Thank you for sharing. We will be down in October visiting our house, which is waiting for us to retire, and will make that one of our stops. Love chili dogs and looking forward to trying this one.

PS - Our house will not be waiting to much longer now since my husband will retire in Feb! So looking forward to it!

Jeanne, you will have earned that chili dog by the time you get to TV! That chili dog can be your "light at the end of the tunnel." Won't be long now!

Where is the Winn Dixie shopping center? The one in Wildwood, or is there another one?
