Default Stumpknockers - Inverness FL

We took a little 30 minute trip to Inverness this afternoon to have dinner at Stompknockers on the Square, one of two restaurants they have and we enjoyed everything we had. Their other location takes roughly another 15 minutes to get to.

My wife had broiled catfish and I had the broiled seafood platter. There was so much on both of our plates that between the two of us we brought home some of the gator nuggets we ordered for an appetizer. We also brought home nearly all of my wife's catfish filet and I brought home all the flounder that was on my platter. We also couldn't eat the baked potatoes we got, so we'll be having home fries in the morning.

Stumpknockers Restaurants - southern catfish, steaks and seafood

BTW, we found this restaurant while looking through the The Villages Gourmet Club Restaurant Reviews. There were rated with a 13.

Stumpknockers on the river is my wife's favorite restaurant.

This is one of the favorites of both motorcycle clubs in TV. By the way, these clubs ride at least twice a week and know all the good eating places within a 100 mile radius of here.
