We wanted to give fellow Villagers the heads up.. After golf we had a disappointing lunch at Mallory on Monday 11th April. The chicken salad was served in a bowl with two tablespoons of diced chicken in mayo, a few slices of lettuce, ONE slice cucumber, ONE quarter ring of red onion and ONE small plum tomato. The Manager explained "That's how the owner tells us to serve it. If you wanted more you should have asked for it" We had to ask for refill of our soft drinks and when they were returned had to ask if there was any lime in the soda water. The server said "I thought there was some in the bottom of your glass, if you want more I will bring some in a while but it will take some time. What a contrast to All other Country Clubs where the overall customer experience makes the meal an enjoyable experience. At Cane Garden staff are always so courteous and the food exemplary. We recommend you travel just up the street to Cane Garden we will not be rushing back to the Mallory Restaurant.
