Cool Late Lunch at Weston's Smokehouse

Today around 2:00 PM Ann and I made our way to TWeston's BBQ Smokehouse in Wildwood, FL for a late lunch. Ann loves the smoked chicken and many other smoked BBQ choices, while I enjoy every thing on the menu.

When we arrived there were eight vehicles in the parking lot, we made nine, so the place was jumping for 2:00 PM after the normal lunch group. TWeston's is not small but it is not like the chain BBQ and Smokehouses that seat folks as far as the eye can see. TWeston's is more of neighborhood BBQ and Smokehouse serving water, coffee, ice tea, wine and beer with lots of smoked meat, chicken, turkey, salad, beans, potatoes, slaw, soup, deserts.

Ann and I eat at TWeston's once a week at lunch or mid-afternoon, get take-out for lunch several times a week, and eat the late meal after 5:00PM about once a month. We love the quaint old BBQ Smokehouse neighborhood-look, the food and the friendly service provided by folks who treat you like neighbors.

Today Ann had the smoked chicken wrap with chicken soup and a beer while I had coffee, a house salad with smoked chicken on the side and a cup of chicken soup. As always we enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service as did many other folks who were at TWeston's (the place was full) while we were there.

Folks, I do not work for TWeston's, just like the food and think y'all should drop by and try the BBQ. Home - T. Weston's

Really? You eat BBQ 3-4 times a week?

My meal there in July was very "average" and very costly. I can't give it a recommendation. I like Oakwood BBQ near Leesburg.

Long before Weston's there was Buddy's. Now that was a BBQ place!! It was our Thursday place to visit.

We tried Weston's once and that was enough. It did not appeal to us.

I have become a fan of Burkes BBQ east of Colony on 466A. Great selection, everything fresh and recently expanded dining area. I've yet to try Weston's but we will.
