Default Hot Dogs

Is there any place to get good hot dogs around TV?
In the New York area I like Johnny and Hanges in Fair Lawn NJ (used to be Paterson) and Gray's Papaya and Papaya King, at a few places in NYC. In my Florida visits I can't recall anything special. Not a huge deal but I do like a good frankfurter on occasion.

I'm pretty sure Big City Grill in the little strip mall across from Walmart on 466 has dogs.

I think that Big City has vacated their location. I like Nathans inside of the Walmart on 466. Good fries too!

My favorite is at Sweet Cream in the Winn Dixie shopping center. It's a good hot dog, wrapped in a flour tortilla with chili, cheese, and onions, then fried. It's called their Mexican Dog. I'm sure they do a plain hot dog as well, but I've never been able to get past the Mexican variety. It's served with the best fries I've eaten, and you can also have some great ice cream while you're there.

And, yes, Big City has closed the location on 466 some time ago.

Home Depot serves a pretty good hot dog as well as sausage sandwiches. Chips and a variety of soda choices are available. We grab lunch there occassionally and always chuckle about it later.

Big City still is open in Spanish Springs next to Katie Belle's.

Don't laugh, but the hot dogs at Sam's Club are not bad.....a $1.70 gets you the hot dog and a huge drink.

The hot dog at Nancy Lopez Pool grill is excellent. It is a foot long that comes cut in half and the best dog I have had here in TV. Hot dogs are my favorite junk food!!!! I don't eat them often but when I need my fix, I go to Lopez.

Being an east coast guy and having been a Mash fan, one of my biggest disappointments was a long anticipated Tony Packo hot dog.

I had one during my last TV visit and I was underwhelmed.

I was looking forward to a famous Tony Packo Hot Dog, made a special trip into the bowling alley to get one, and was stunned that it was SOOO BAD!

Five Brothers - the hot dogs are better than the hamburgers.
