Does anyone know of a restaurant in or near TV that serves Florida stone crabs in season ( which they are now)??

Not sure if this answers your question or not but does Joe's Crab Shack serve stone crabs? If so there are three located within 1hr 15 minutes of TV.

If you drive over to Crystal River on the Gulf (about an hour), you will find a number of restaurants that serve stone crabs. You can also purchase fresh stone crabs (from the local boats there) at Shrimp Landing, 12645 W Fort Island Trail 34429 (352) 795-4380. On Friday, Lighthouse Seafood's (1 407 330-2425) truck should be here in TV with fresh stone crabs (on Rte #446).

And here I thought "Stone Crab" was a disgruntled Senior Citizen that uses pot....

The Fourth Annual Stone Crab Jam in the streets is coming up November 5th in Crystal River, FL. Get your fill there.
