Default PDQ coming to Colony Plaza

Today's Daily Sun (article attached) says PDQ will open a new restaurant during the fourth quarter of 2015. The map in the article indicates it will be located between McDonald's and Tire Choice.

Menu looks good. May give some competition to Beef o'Gradys.

I doubt if Beef O'Bradys is afraid Of a chicken and Turkey place. that's my opinion anyway although it was pointed out to me recently that my opinion isn't binding.

My opinion is that your opinion is correct regarding PDQ being a threat to Beef O'Bradys.
I have no opinion regarding opinions being binding though.

Just wondering has anybody ever seen or visited a PDQ restaurant?

Never been there, however, one just opened on Hwy 200 in Ocala. It's on the right as you proceed towards the Paddock Mall after exiting I-75 at the Hwy 200 exit.

Default Chicken and Turkey

Here's the menu. Looks like it is exclusively chicken and turkey salads and sandwiches. Menu

They have fries and shakes too and their sauces are all home-made. I love home-made dressings. They will have a drive-thru

Pretty Damn Quick fast food sounds like to me. Any restaurant in south TV is welcome, but I was hoping for a Bob Evans or Perkins for a consistent breakfast.

The menu does nothing for me. Just a sandwich place.

There's one in Wesley Chapel, on SR56 as you are heading to the mall.
I've gotten a sandwich there once, at the drive thru. It was good but nothing I would get excited over.

I'm holding out hope for the homemade sauces and dressings to make the sandwiches and salads special. I love any type of sauce not out of a bottle.

It'll be interesting to see if it succeeds. It's not like there's a dearth of chicken tenders/fingers/nuggets in The Villages, or sandwich places. But then I never figured that specialty chicken wings restaurants would thrive, so don't listen to me.

If the dressing for their blueberry cole slaw is the standard mayonnaise and vinegar/lemon blend, that does not sound appealing.

cole slaw with mandarin oranges is great, so maybe blueberry cole slaw is too. It's all in the dressing.

Yuk sounds like more fast food. Sure would like to see a good healthy restaurant for a change, especially out there. Not much to choose from
