Default lopez...shocked....

went there last week....saw a few bartendes that claim they worked on a cruise ship...heee i doubt it cause they were rude!!! he was more interesting in texting than serving the 3 of us !!! (why do restr. allow texting or even a phone on them while working??) the chairs at the bars were all in bad shape..the leather is falling off...and gets into your clothes....can't they afford new chairs???? really a pathetic sight...the food was okay but not worth going back to.....those 2 guys they have that according to them worked at a cruise line.....they should get rid of....very cold and non caring about customers..sad to have such help at a big place like that.....no time to serve but time to use their phone for a long time...we left..and went into the dining room...thye never saw us leave.....a bad business thing for sure....not going back !!!!
GET RID OF THOSE CELL PHONES PEOPLE.....NOT GOOD FOR BUSINESS !!!!

We went to Lopez a few weeks ago early afternoon, the bar person (female) was excellent, like yourselves we addressed the deplorable condition of the chairs @ the bar.

Management is well aware of the bar seats, if they're not fixed asap--shame on them!!!

We live on the southern end of the villages & normally don't frequent Lopez-because after a few pops-it takes about 30' minutes for the alcohol to take effect & don't want to risk a DUI on the way back

Good example of poor ownership and management.

Maybe not such good bartenders. They could've been looking up how to make your drinks.

We frequent Lopez often and the chairs are the least of what we are concerned with; quality of food AND service always excellent both in the seating area and the restaurant;....we never have experienced what you describe..........

Food and Service are always good at both Lopez and Hemingway. I go there often and have never had a bad meal or poor service.

We frequent Lopez Country Club and have for 13yrs. Always enjoyable in the lounge as well as the dining room. Never have had bad service or a bad meal and we personally know one of the employees and know that yes at one time worked on a cruise ship.

I disagree. If the ownership is so removed from the business they do not know what is going on or not.....to protect their investment and keep the customer happy........that is not good ownership.

The seats @ the bar are deplorable, no excuse for that, my wife bailed on a health club here-during her initial walk thru- the trainer had his head buried in his I-phone

If your job has to take second place to your I-phone-pray you hit the lottery, or you will be

out of work

Now that's a good one! "Yes, officer. I have been drinking, but I would have been home before I became drunk if you wouldn't have stopped me."

It takes an hour for the alcohol to fully enter the blood stream and your body oxidizes one drink per hour. One drink = 12 oz beer....4 oz of wine....shot of alcohol. I remember this from my attendance at a DUI School.

When we lived in NJ we had our own breathalyzer, we know we we're getting close--its not our first rodeo-in NJ--you lost your license for 6 months-no excuses --you walked --period- we became very drink savy
