Disagree. Urban Curry is very good. Have been there many times and will continue. No other Indian restaurant anywhere near here is as good.

Does anyone make it at home?

Try "S&B Golden Curry - Mild" usually available in Publix. Make with red potatoes, carrots, chicken or pork, serve over white or brown rice. (Make like the dish on the box).

Default Is this another Havana discussion?

As you will notice this post was originally made in early 2011 when Urban Curry was new. I've been to India many times and of course you can't compare but we thought it was good enough for us so we were there several times early last year. Was definitely thinking of returning but seems like mixed review here. If the food went down, hope the owners will rectify soon.

Completely agree! Its really sad every time a new "chain restaurant" pops up in the Villages. Although, Urban Curry has revamped the place and the staff and it is now an "international grill". New Chef Quinn? (sp) has really turned the place around.

The new chef makes excellent food, is very friendly and they finally, FINALLY, FINALLY have a buffet, TV's for football.

We eat there a lot more now that Quin is running the place.

Four of us had dinner there last week and were very disappointed with the food. Service was poor, also. We will not go back.

Our group of 6 had dinner at UC a few nights ago and will not return. The service was absolutely terrible and the Indian food was very bland even with a request for spicy. Too many other restaurants that are much better. We will vote with our feet and go else where.
