Dave of Village Grocery Delivery has been so helpful to me. I want to encourage all of you to take advantage of this exciting new business.

First - think of the number of restaurants in The Villages that offer delivery to your home. They are few and far between. Dave of Village Grocery Delivery will pick up any order that you place for pick up at any restaurant in The Villages and bring it to you. There is a small delivery fee, but worth every penny. So now you can have something other than pizza delivered to your home.

Second - he will run errands for you. Just yesterday he returned two items that had to be returned at Office Depot and Walmart and picked up some extra things that I needed from Walmart. I know most of us get around well and like to run our own errands, but there are bound to be times when you need something and it is just not the time to go out. Call Dave - yes he is offering an amazing service for just a very small fee.

Third - Groceries - Dave has done grocery shopping for us several times and yes this is a free service. He uses coupons that he and his staff collect while he is shopping for you. You pay exactly what is on the checkout register, just as if you were shopping without coupons. He will provide the register to show you exactly what the regular charges were for your groceries. His fee is whatever discount is provided by the coupons that he has collected.

No - I am in no way associated with this business - just a very satisfied customer who would really like to see this business succeed.

According to their flyer, they accept, "...cash, personal checks and most major credit cards. You do not pay until your order is delivered."

I think this is the type of service a lot of communities could use so I do hope their business model works.
