I hope it closes as fast as it opens. We don't want crappy restaurants like waffle house. There's are alot better upscale chain restaurants than this one. Lady Lake please improve the area not turn it into a truck stop.

If by "late last night" they mean after 8pm, I'm safe.

Waffle House is synonymous with the south.

True...

And most of the shenanigans happen very late at night, just like they do everywhere... Alcohol is typically involved...

Go to youtube an look up "Waffle House Waitress catches chair"...

She's as big as a minute, but I wouldn't want to mess with her!

Do your self a favor and read all the comments about Waffle House. Here's the short version of some of the respondents
1. Complaint- Not a classy place which probably came from someone that complains about high prices
2. Complaint- It's a late night trouble spot- That probably came from any one of Villagers that think late night is anytime after 9pm
3. Complaint- Greasy food cooked in cheap oil- How would most anyone know cheap oil from expensive oil
4. Complaint- Scene for robberies and murders- Lately what place isn't a scene for robberies and murders? This isn't the big city environment
Here's a quick point to ponder
I teach classes to the military all over the world and always ask my students "what do you miss about being home?" You'd be so surprised to hear "Waffle House" so many times
Botom-line, try to remember we're America's Friendliest Hometown"

I'm told Waffle House is a great predictor of the severity of a storm. If it closes the storm is gonna be bad.

Only pattern I've noticed over the years is the food is consistently good and, except for one time, the service is too.

Late night troubles? I wonder if that's a Waffle House issue or an issue with any place that is open late. Don't generally go to breakfast between the hours of 8pm and 4am so not really a problem for me.

I visit a Waffle House every couple of years and love a great breakfast. Come on, stop complaining about every little thing that goes on in life.
Lol, do you not realize you just made a "hater" comment?

I give you the fond nickname of the place, good advice for while there and accurate descriptions and.....you complain about that.

Too funny....glass houses, rocks and all that.
