One poster made mention of Burger King, McDonalds as a drive-in definition but if you compare the food presented in DD&D it is over the top and as to a burger now that's A BURGER McDonalds et al have become victims of the Bloomberg effect

Nope. I like Toojays but it isn't a real deli. We need a place where the pastrami or corned beef is piled high on good rye bread. Good pickles to go with it. Not a cheap place but it's gooooood!

There used to be a great deli (Gandolfo's NY Deli) that served pastrami sandwiches like the one you're looking for. But they closed awhile back. Too bad because they had the BEST sandwiches around.

For those who lived around Ann Arbor, they have a place that was featured on DD&D. I think it's called Joe's Wimpy Burger. I had never heard of it, so I took the short ride from Toledo to check it out. Of course they had a big poster of Guy up on the wall, and it was just as he described it on his show. Best burgers and onion rings ever!
