Default Why Can't We Have Drive-In Diners?

This thread is not for vagans.

I was watching Drive-In Diners and Dives on the food channel and wondered out loud why we don't have some places like that. My My Guy Feri has such an excellent job. I wonder if he would take on a trainee

Yes I could and hope . My view is that many people are attracted to restaurants like this.

Denny's tried to make a retro cool diner like that on CR-44 and I-75 and it has since closed down. Guess no one is interested.

I am. I love Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. YUM!

Best show on tv after The Simpsons. I keep updating my GPS with the locations of his shows just in case I run across one. That may be like hitting the lottery but still hoping. It is a wonder Guy does not weigh 400 pounds but oh that food looks great.

Default A Drive-in is a Great Idea

I'd definitely patronize a golf car drive-in restaurant. I see that Sonic has drive-ins in Leesburg and in Summerfield. Maybe they could be encouraged to open one within golf car driving distance in TV.

We cart over to the Sonic on 27/441 when over on the paradise side to shop or haircuts. I would like to see an old style diner like the Blue Colony Diner off 84 in Connecticut.

Cool...I didn't realize they were that close (I'm not there yet).

Thanks for the information!

I've never had a Sonic burger. I drive by a Sonic pretty often and always planned to stop by but haven't yet. I'll take your advice and keep passing by.

Oh yeah, a good diner would be great! Doesn't even have to be cart accessible. In the northeast they're all over the place and all have really good food. I have three within 10 to 15 minutes of where I'm sitting right now.
