Default the new, improved KILWINS

We still live in Ohio.

At least until my husband retires in January (Yahoo) and we get to move to our home in The Villages full time. Here in Ohio I work as the manager of the only Kilwins in Ohio. It is a beautiful little store and we are looking forward to having our one year anniversary next weekend.

Just wanted everyone in The Villages to know that the Kilwins in Spanish Springs has new owners and I think it will be a delight to have them as a part of our town. I sure you will see big changes in their store and it will be a delight to visit. I am looking forward to meeting them when I get the chance to come down for good in January. If you get the chance to stop by and see them, wish them well.

Glad to hear that. I worked in an office in downtown Wilmington NC that was right next door to Kilwins. People were literally lined up out the door all summer long. No reason this Kilwins shouldn't be doing the same - except for the way it has been run into the ground by the old owners. Wishing the new folks the best of luck.

Our grandchildren love Kilwins. I love it too though my wife gives me an evil eye if I stop over too many times. Look forward to the improvement.

I'm from Michigan. We loved Kilwins. Was not the same here. Hope new owners will make a difference.

I believe you will be delighted with the new folks. Though I have never met them, they have the same store support/trainer that we had up in Petoskey during training. She is thrilled with the couple and said they plan on being hands on! I hope you all go see them and see what a well run Kilwins experience should be. The Kilwins we run here in Ohio is always very clean, very fresh and we strive to give you a delightful experience. Not only do our customers love us, our team loves coming to work.....as it should be!

What was so bad about Kilwins before new ownership here?
We just got back from Harbor/ Petoskey after spending a wonderful 3 months of 70's and 50's at night.
We visit Kilwins and do the plant tour and love Kilwins.
BTW the water shown is Little Traverse Bay.

The last time I went to the Kilwin's here, in Feb., every single tub of ice cream had multiple scoops of ice cream that had been scooped out, half melted, and was thrown back into the tub.

It all looked like last week's leftovers!!!! Yuck!!

And the place looks grimy and run-down, unlike the stores we've patronized in other vacation areas.

Me too. Spent summers on Torch Lake in the 60's about 100 yards from Brownwood. We still visit every year during our summers Up North.
