Fine dining where a person spends a lot of money to enjoy the experience.
Mid-range where besides a meal you are looking for a rest stop from the day.
Fast food nothing more than a fueling station for the body.
I don't care what you spend, I've gotten to believe the best place to eat is at home.
You know what is going into your meal, who is preparing it and if want you can eat your meal in your underwear.
While I agree with you that the best meals are the ones we prepare our selves, In most homes here in TV, the least used room is the kitchen. We have always enjoyed cooking and work together in the kitchen. Of course, we have to agree who is the chef and who is the sous chef on any given recipe.

Anyone find out what was going on at Cheddars in Ocala on Hwy. 200 around October or so??

We had to go to West Marion Hosp. and one time we drove by, the complete building was
covered in a tarp, termites Maybe???

I love food comments from people in flyover states..they know nothing! Brats and beans are their specialty.

Only those that lived east of the hudson river or west of the rockies know good food. Hmmm…californians can do just okay but better than those from bumscrew wizard of oz land.

This is their website with the menu.......

Like Cheddars. Unfortunately it would be another chain restaurant in TV.

Hungry Howies is similar to Little Caesars and several of them in and around TV.

Really you don’t consider any processed food served in restaurants just as bad?

Many self respecting southern folk have lived to 90s and more, with that can of bacon grease on the stove. Mid 20s future MIL served potatoes had no idea why it tasted weird until I saw the box. We always had fresh picked fruit vegetables eggs butter cheese and raised own protein until last year.

It's the processed food that should cause one worry. For us it’s not about eating clean. It’s about how it tastes. When you rarely eat processed food it it wreaks havoc on system.

Agree but it is so good. Hubby and I always split it and split a dinner salad. That way, the impact is not that bad. Also, it is treat, not regular fare for us.

As Hunter Thompson said…..

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!

Has anyone notice some restaurants are charging not only
a fee to use a credit card, but charge for an extra plate when you spit a meal.

I "think" some restaurants have always charged a nominal fee for the extra plate. I cannot remember where, but I have seen it.

Have seen it back when we lived in NYC but not here. CC fee is unfortunately becoming more common.
