Exactly what I was thinking. One sports bar is more than enough.

We need more than one sports bar for 156,000 people. The two that just opened are packed so a couple more are needed.

I certainly don't pan new restaurants because they are not my preferred foods/types, but I agree with you, the sports bar, sports bar, sports bar thing is really getting over done. However, on the flip side, I realize if that was not the preferred cuisine of the majority of Villages residents, you'd not see one establishment of this type after another going up. Same with "fast food" establishments, if people did not prefer it, there would be a limited number of them ! It's not exactly cuisine heaven in a limited income retirement community. At least there are a few choices here, and a few in Ocala an Orlando area, but of course that requires a drive so we've just accepted that. It is what it is, other features make up for a few minor disappointments !

Hint - we are no longer a 55+ community. They will have a kids menu ;-)
Target market, similar to Boosters, includes younger people with families from Middleton and the surrounding Sumter/Lake county areas. |

Looks like a fun "beachy" restaurant clearly aimed at the Middleton demographic.
Here's an example menu from the Hilton Head location. https://www.zunzibar.com/files/hhi-f...-10-24-pdf.pdf Zunzibar Coming to The Villages | Last edited by Altavia; 10-27-2024 at 08:08 AM. |
