EASY! Water comes in ! but save some $$ and buy buckets MUCH cheaper than a new roof and the grand-kids don't want your old stinky house. heck get a FREE bucket from the pool area.. tons just waiting to be claimed.. heck your amenity fees paid for them so you're entitled to it!

Our 11yo Designer home roof is in great shape. Had it checked a few years ago and A+.

But perhaps concerned about home insurance (Allstate Our case). Heard stories re increases if your roof is xxx old. Anyone know the criteria or such re this?

Any FREE roofer inspection will tell you you do.

Your insurance company might demand it at 15 or 20 years.

I had a very small leak after the last hurricane passed by last fall.
The independent roofer (retired) that did the repair, said my 19 year old roof is good for another 10 years.
Aye yi yi; as Ricky Ricardo would say.
