ICE made another sweep through yesterday from what I hear. Guess they got most of them the first time. Didn't seem to disrupt things too much. Construction in Middleton and Eastport has seemed to slow a bit.

Unfortunately, it will have a negative impact on the legals here. Mistakes are made and that impacts people not wanting to be rounded up in the raids mistakenly. People have reported been held for 2 months before being released. We knew going into this it would affect our agricultural labor and locally here housing construction, landscaping, restaurant labor etc. We also knew to replace those people we have to hire people at 4x the amount which skyrockets the product’s price. It feels a bit weird cheering for higher prices, because we know there is no way around it when you purposely create a labor shortage.

If it's about keeping America safe there are 1000s of illegals in our state and federal prisons, that have already had due process and been found guilty. Send them to El Salvador. Busting landscaper or construction worker for only an imagination violation is low hanging fruit , just for show. Go after gang leaders.

It's about making America white.
How do you think they get that food and other things they need? They drive with no drivers license or car insurance so that seems safe until they hit you or a family member and then how do your golden years look?

I will say...
I have many LEGAL friends and they voted for this to happen. They and their immediate families are not at all worried.

They can EASILY PROVE their status/ CITIZENSHIP. As Easily as I can prove mine!!!
Very well said and I so agree.

I'm willing to bet you would not find it very easy to prove when stopped on I75 heading back from Alabama.
