Hello, my wife and I are looking to rent a home in the villages for Jan. Feb. and March 2026. I've tried the various sites - Rent from a Villager, ****, AirbnB, without much luck. Our budget is in the $4,000 a month range, we have no pets, or children. We would like to have a garage, and prefer to have something that offered a golf cart. If all 3 months are not available, we would look at just Feb. or just March. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.

I'm no expert - simply a casual market observer, but from what I can tell, your budget is about 30% below market rate for a patio villa with those extras during that time period. You may be able to achieve that rate were you to rent for a longer term, perhaps annually.

EDIT: I found this one for $2000/month for those months, but you might opt to rent a golf cart from The Villages Golf Cars as it does not appear included.

$4,000 with a golf cart, will be very rare, for high season. You might need to adjust your budget. Or try November, December. Usually high Season doesn’t split up months keeping January, February, March together.

If you wait until mid December, someone might be closing on a new house and be desperate for renters immediately.

You're late in the day to be looking for those months. You can probably find something, but your budget is an additional restrictor. If you haven't already, go to the Rent from A Villager Facebook page and post your need. You'll likely get responses.
