Hi Neighbors! Amazon delivered one of my packages to the wrong address. If anyone happens to receive a package that isn't yours, or notices one delivered to your porch by mistake, could you please let me know? I will be happy to come get it.

That happened to me. The lady called who had received it. And she was shaking it when I came to her door. Thankfully it was outfitted with a blade guard as it was the axe or one of them I needed to go at the lantana camera which had invaded the side of the house. It had grown in a few months to a few feet over the roof and almost to the next door neighbor's side of their house. I had to get a machete to really get at the lantana camera. The machete worked and thankfully was not delivered to someone who shakes boxes.

Inform Amazon on their site and they will offer either a refund or replacement.

One thing that has not been mentioned is that, when you get a delivery from Amazon, you also get a photo of the front porch with the package on it. When this happens, you can drive around and look for the porch where the package was delivered.

That has happened to me more than once. I requested and received refunds, no problem.

Just drive around looking at front doors.

Several times, Amazon has delivered a package of mine to the next street over with the same house number as mine.

I had a sprinkler worker who went to the wrong street and did some work there until that home owner came out and asked her what the hell she was doing in his yard . She did tell me the whole story when she arrived about twenty minutes late to our appointment time. She was a different shade of red when she told me about it.

Flip side of that is if you get a package with the wrong address on it by law it becomes yours no matter what addresses are on it. Possession being 9/10 of the law you do not have to return it or drive around looking for where it was suposed to go. This happened to us twice we got a nice desk lamp and a set of towels. Amazon will send a replacement to the person who ordered it.

Some folks never cease to amaze me. If the package has a name and or address on it, and you choose to keep it I think very little of your character.
