Default Car Stereo Installation

I have an Acura MDX. I have all the parts and instructions to install a car stereo
I need someone with the tools and “know how” to install
Any recommendations or volunteers
Thanks in advance

Interesting project, I have done several over the years, but none on the newer cars. If this is a replacement of the existing radio, this is one type of installation, if this is a completely new installation, this is a completely different installation, for example do the speakers exist?
You can send me a PM and we can discuss over the phone.
I was just over at Total Recon, and they may be able to do the work, 352-314-9714.

When I was about 16 and working at Dairy Queen, one of the owners bought a thing that would create something like an echo in the radio. I installed for him and it worked, but that 1,000 years ago. With today's system, I wouldn't touch it.

A reverb was the big equipment in the late 60's, before Stereo. Havinga "reverb" switch above your radio, meant you got all the options!

Be very very careful, the new car head units are connected with just about everything in the ride. Messing with them could cause lots of unexpected problems. Upgrading the speakers is OK, but changing out the head unit can be very problematic.

I just replaced the Head Unit in my C6 Corvette with a Pioneer double-DIN DWH-W4660NEX radio complete with Apple carplay and a backup camera. I purchased the system from Crutchfield who also provided a wiring harness that was plug and play, along with very detailed instructions on how to disassemble and reassemble the dash. At first I was a little scared to tackle it but once I started it wasn't so bad. Glad I did it, very happy with the installation and radio. They also provide a recommended tool list for the project.

Underglass Auto Tech in Lady Lake replaced our radio/nav/camera unit on our RV a couple of years ago. It was a great upgrade for the RV and they did a great job. We have had no issues with the new install. While they sell the units, they may be willing to install your unit. Can’t hurt to give them a call.

It was a “ reverberator” Reverb for short. I put one in my 65 Baracuda, it was awesome.
