Default Recommendations for a local Fee-Only Financial Advisor / Tax Planner

Hi Everyone,
We are looking for recommendations for a local Fee-Only Financial Advisor / Tax Planner in or around The Villages area.
To be clear, we are specifically seeking a strict fee-only fiduciary—meaning someone who is compensated only by hourly rates, project fees, or a flat fee, and does NOT take commissions, sales loads, 12b-1 fees, or sell insurance/annuities.
What we're looking for help with:
• Tax-efficient retirement distribution strategies (Roth conversions, RMD management, FL tax considerations).
• One-time financial plan checkup.
• Someone local (or willing to meet in person) who understands the specific needs of Florida retirees.
If you have personal experience with a true fee-only CFP® or CPA/PFS firm locally that you’ve been happy with, we’d love to hear who you use and why!
(Please, no pitches for commission-based products, annuities, or "free consultation" dinner seminars. We are only interested in pure fee-only fiduciary practices.)
Thanks in advance for any insights or recommendations!

If you are not insistent on "local" but willing to meet via zoom or FaceTime, I've used one for 8 years now. I have met her in person and in-office many times when I lived local to her office (Irvine, CA).

I "meet" with her via zoom whenever I need to, and during an annual review. Otherwise, via email.

She is a CPA and a Fee-Only advisor. She helped us plot our way into retirement at age 50 (3 days after I turned 50, in fact) and continues to manage our portfolio.

You'll not find too many people that not only offer (without commission concerns) investment advice but intimately understands the tax consequences of that advice.

Like many advisors, that "minimum" investment may be flexible so don't be scared off by that. I think it's a "target" for them. No worries about a Baum situation here as she does not hold the investments but rather manages them for you through your Schwab accounts. I believe she can move the monies around, but not withdraw them.

I suggest you look into her, Annette DiBello. Di Bello Financial | Tax-Efficient Active Investment Management
