If I lived in Phillips Villa by new Walmart being built I would push for golf cart (GC)cut off path. Traffic at a 4-way stop WILL BE horrible when Walmart opens. Looks like GC path around 260 feet could be installed from Kathy loop to VA parking lot along the wall. At least this would keep the majority GCs out of street in front of Walmart. Especially being the made two entry/exit between 4-way stop and Phillips gate. I would also think a stop light added at CR42 and Phillips entry with the heavy increased traffic turning into Walmart/ Phillips entry? If not will be another demolition derby.

Unless you are affected, probably don’t care. By the only VA clinic in villages.

Agree, it the one way in and out going to be demolition derby. Phillips suffer the most due to they have to negotiate every time they leave their villa. Need golf cart bypass IMO. IMO should have been one when it was built.

#1 The Cost $ In building a road for access is __________ $$$$ ? #2 How many Homes will be affected by providing this " Convivence " ? #3 Bottom Line: $$$$$$, Does it make sense. #4 The days of doing what make sense & convivence for a relatively few are long gone. #5 Lastly I will be very surprised that Golf Cart access will be provided. |

As a resident of said Villas I expect additional traffic that will be tough to navigate in the beginning. But like everything in life I suspect we will get accustomed to the change. I would be shocked if they put in a multi-modal path off of Kathy Loop. Time will tell.

Looks like it would cost at least $2 million to put in a new road for the few people who live in a neighborhood that, lets face it, no one knows where it is at nor do we care. It does not make sense at that cost. If they want golf cart access they should have moved to the newer south end. So now they cry, please. |
