Default Bright lights on Morse and Buena Vista

There was a number of posts some months back when the lights were replaced along Morse and Buena Vista with the bright, LED ones. People along the routes complained about the lights shining into their homes. Did anything get addressed of fixed for those houses?

Are the lights shining into you home?

They directly shine into mine about 100yds away.

Plus they reflect off the retention basin behind us directly into the bedroom window.

The dispersion angle of the lights is far too wide for a residential area with homes close to roadways.

They effectively violate our restrictions to not allow lights to directly shine onto another properly.

I have no idea. They are probably the same light upgrade where SECO was going to charge residents a significant sum of money but I lost track of that.

The plus is with daylight savings time, we can walk the dogs after sundown in virtual sunshine.

They really light up the MMP'S running along the side of the roads.

So at the end of the day, they are pain for some but a benefit for many.

The controversy surrounding the bright LED streetlights along Morse Boulevard and Buena Vista Boulevard stems from SECO Energy's multi-phase project to upgrade older, amber-tinted high-pressure sodium streetlights to highly efficient, bright white LEDs.

I have window blinds and curtains. I see no light I don’t want to see… also IMO if want village to fix something need to band blue lights in yard lamp posts. They don’t produce a lighted area and blue lights hurt my eyes actually blinds me.
