Beau Caruthers, NP. He treated my wife for chronic hives and his care and expertise was excellent.

I was searching for one too in August. Couldn't get an AllerVie Health appt till God knows when. Via Next Door, found Dr. Andrew Cooke in Tavares & got appt. within 1 week. He & his staff are efficient, knowledgeable. I liked the idea that he is a solo practitioner & not part of a larger chain where they have to follow the rules, protocol that someone else designed. He majored in biochem in college. I have been there on 4 different time for allergy testing & the final reveal re: what I'm really allergic to & what my options are. No pressure from him. Last time I had allergy testing was 51 yrs ago. Somewhere along the aging process thought I became allergic to penicillin, but Cooke is very careful about testing for that. A separate day with time set aside in case your reaction is positive.

Yes, the location is 1 hour away, (one way!) for us but near Mt Dora which we visit too infrequently. It's a little treat on the way home. I'm scheduled to begin allergy desensitization (or whatever they call it) next week, then allergy shots so I don't have to encounter sinus infections every fall (6 yrs) since we've been here.

Good luck!
