Default Need golf cart battery

a.) where is the best place to buy?
b.) is it a straightforward DIY replacement, or should I hire a pro?

I have the Yamaha Drive2 Quietech EFI, 2019. Original battery no longer holding a charge.

Best place to buy is Costco. Replacing the battery in a Quietech is a pain in the a$$. If you’re a handyman wrencher, go for it. Otherwise, call Todd Casey or another pro who will come to your home. There are several YouTube videos out there that will show you how to replace the battery yourself. The replacement itself is very simple, the problem is moving stuff to create the necessary access space to do the job.

I've used a few Walmart batteries over the years, they don't last very long in my experience.
Now, I only use Interstate batteries.

My first battery lasted about five years and others on here have reported similar times.

Costco/Sam's/Walmart should all be similar. A previous post suggested Rural King but I haven't been there myself.

Get the correct Group #. Mine was Group 24 and after a quick look I thought a 24F would work. I was wrong. Make sure to get the correct one.

There are YouTube videos describing two ways to access the battery. One removes a metal shield and the other removes some access panels. I chose to remove the panels:
- Remove the Foward/Reverse lever
- Remove the plugs that hold the front, under-seat panel on and then remove that panel
- YouTube now has you removing the side panel but I found there was enough flex that I could move it just far enough to slide the battery forward and out.

Honestly, you should replace all of the batteries at one time with the best you can afford. I go with Trojan batteries and they perform remarkably well.
