Question Printing a picture

I would like to enter a picture in the Villages photo contest. In the past I have used Walgreens to download and print pictures. However, the contest calls for 8 1/2 by 11 prints and that is not one of the options that Walgreens offers. Any suggestions about where I would go to download a picture from the computer and have it printed out?

John

Hi John. I noticed that change in photo size today, for the same reason. I previously submitted 8 x 10, but this year the DS has new requirements. I don't know if Walmart offers the required size, but I probably won't bother this year as its too difficult to get copies made.

I have a call into the person handling the contest at the Daily Sun and will let you know what she says when she calls me back.

It is fine to keep with 8 x10 and 8 1/2 x 11. Do not go smaller or larger.
Both are acceptable. I got a call back from the woman looking after this at the Daily Sun. But please again note, do not be smaller or larger than these dimensions. No 3 x 5 or 4 x 6 or 11 x 17...

Thank you, Jane0, I was discouraged when reading the listed dimensions in today's DS, and was not going to enter this year's competition. It was becoming too diffecult to get photos printed. Has to be cart accessible as I don't drive a car. THANK YOU

I guess I'm good to go, 8x10 is fine.

I wonder who changed the photo dimensions this year?

I upload my photos to shutterfly.com and they print them and mail them to me. I think the quality is better than what I have gotten recently at Walgreens. If you're in a time crunch though it probably wouldn't work for you.
