Default Best Electric Golf Cart

What is the best electric cart. I already have a Yamaha gas but need a second cart and would like electric. I searched "best electric cart" here and could find nothing. Can't believe this is not a sticky. OK Let's hear the comments about Par, EZ-GO, Star and Club carts.

And the winner is......

Dollar for dollar EZGO, A/C motor, motor acts as the brake, no need to set an emergency brake. Will not slow down going up hills and gets 55-60 miles on a charge (6/8v batteries). Not as feature rich as Star, Par or Tomberlin (the other choice with an A/C motor) or as good looking as a Club Car (interesting feature, an aluminum chassis).

Drive them all, I suggest Town & Country in SS for EZGO.

Good luck, in the end it will come down to personal preference.

I agree with Paulz for all the reasons he stated.

We purchased a new 2010 EZGO RXV 4 years ago and have over 9,000 trouble free miles on it. We have the 4/12 volt battery configuration and if I were in the market for another electric, I would not hesitate and purchase another EZGO, but this time with the 6/8 volt system for greater range.

Definitely go to Town & Country in Spanish Springs.

Asking for the "best" golf cart is like asking what the best pickup truck is. Ford fans will swear that anyone who drives a Chevy is stupid. Chevy owners will tell that dead Fords line the roads. Both sides will tell you that Dodge owners are soft in the head...

I have an EZ-Go. My neighbor owns a ParCar. Another neighbor has a Star. All have pluses and minuses.

I agree. "Best" is subjective. People don't agree on who is the most beautiful woman in the world.

And, asking which is the best electric cart is like asking who is the best looking ugly woman in town.
