And, No this is not an April Fool's joke!!

My hubby gave notice! Hoot! Hoot!!

His director did ask if this was an early April Fool's joke. Haha!!

So we have a closing date on our house for Feb 12. He will retire April 1st. Now we need to decide when I can retire. Looks like Sept or Oct....Too bad I'm not older!!! Hate to have that house sit there, while we sit here...

Of course I am not "sitting here", I commute to the Bay Area. But soon this will all be history and we will be picking out our golf carts.....

It has been an adventure! From the first visit in May our lives have been different. We are very excited to join you great folks and start enjoying all that The Villages offers.

You folks on the forum have been more help than you will ever know in every aspect of our decision to buy here and to not waste any more time in the rat race.
