Default Stonecrest plus vicinity around TV

We've been trying to find the crime statistics, broken down, for break ins "outside" of The Villages......is there such a listing????

Anyone from Stonecrest care to weigh in on whether or not they've also experienced or have knowledge of break ins inside Stonecrest?

Just want to put things into perspective for my husband.

Thank you in advance. Will check back tomorrow.

Senior.........you ARE aware, aren't you........that inspite of recent burglaries, that The Villages as such, is one of the SAFEST areas in the country. We have over 110,000 people in TV. Of course we are going to have problems. What community of that size doesn't? The Crime Specialist from the Sheriff's office emphasized how safe it is to live in TV. BUT.....we can't bury our heads in the sand. We must be Vigilant, Observant and Persistent...VOP.

Senior, it seems like you're writing a book (Leisureville style) and fishing for stories to collect, and are not really interested in buying a place in TV.

If 90% of the 100,000 people here are happy, mentally and bodily active and healthy, and financially solvent....then it's a good place to live.

But it's not bucolic or anything. It's really modern and lively.

Due diligence is a good thing but sometimes you can over think a thing.
